Snowdome Milton Keynes (UK)

I have been to the snowdome in Milton Keynes a few times and I have to say that normally it is rather good.  Okay you do not get the long slopes that you do on the mountains but hey, we I am in England after all.

I was, I have to say, very disappointed with the result of last nights performance.  I found out after travelling 3 hours in a car to get there that the conditions where disastrous.  The snow was so stodgy that you could get any speed up.  I spent the hour doing nothing at all apart from wishing that I hadn’t spend three hours in a car getting their.  There where a few rails out but without speed what can you do on those really.

I decide to have a word and found out that they had had a chemical leak.  To there credit they did give me and the others I was travelling with a free double session next time we go (which will have to be after two weeks as it will take that long to recover). One this that got my back up though was the fact that while I was standing there compiling other people where coming in to use the slopes… where they telling people as and when they came in that the conditions where bad..  No! they let the hand over there hard earned cash…

i'll let you know next time i go and use my voucher if they have redeemed themselves...
