Google Groups has been pimped - beta
If you take a look at groups.google.com you'll see the same old website - it's not your rich google experance you get with Google reader, Gmail etc. Well it looks like changes are ahead.
Take a look at http://groups-beta.google.com and you'll get a different story.

Look how the threads have got some of the gmail thread magic.
Upload and share files
Group members can upload files and share their work with others in the group. (pic above taken from the tour)
What are peoples thoughts? I myself think its a great improvment.
Very confusing and redundant.
